The Obama family

Hi guys,

You really need to be more quiet and more focused on the lesson otherwise, you're not going to learn correctly.

Today we worked on a new sequence about the Obama family with Barack Obama (the father), Michelle Obama (the mother), and their two daughters (Malia and Sasha).

Here is what we read about what they like doing:

1. Malia Obama was born on the 4th of July = on Independence Day.  

2. Malia's favorite activities are soccer, dancing, and acting. 

3. Both girls LOVE dogs, but Malia is allergic to dog dander.

4. Malia and Sasha share the same favorite meals: “fried chicken” and “macaroni and cheese”!

5. The girls are in love with the boy band “One Direction”. They invited them to perform at the White House, but their tour schedule would not let them.

6. Sasha's activities of choice are tap dancing and gymnastics.

7. One of the girls' favorite past times is going to the library, reading books and sharing thoughts with their parents.
