The Royal family - Queen Elizabeth II and Prince William

Hi guys,

today you had two hours of English.

During the first hour, we went to the CDI and the 3° students read fairy tales out loud to you.

You filled in a worksheet about the activities and then we talked about it briefly at the beginning of the class.

During the 2nd hour, we worked again on the royal family. Here is what we said:

- Queen Elizabeth II (the second):

     She was born in 1926. She was only 13 when World War II happened. She was a very courageous child.

     She didn't go to school. She was educated at Buckingham Palace.

     When she was a teenager, she like horse-riding, art and music.

     She was crowned when she was 27.

- Prince William:

     When he was 13, he went to Eton (a very famous school). He likes sports (polo, football / soccer, swimming).

     He was courageous when his mother "Lady Diana" died in a car crash in Paris.

     I think he is good-looking / ugly.

NB: common points between the grandmother and the grandson
