As for today's lesson, it is Lena's turn to update it. We began to study the text that was given for last year's A-Levels session. Here is what we said about the method to study a text:

Il faut s'aider en cherchant des réponses aux Q° en "wh-"

Liste de mots interrogatifs:

Where ? -> le lieu
When ? -> le temps
Why ? -> la raison
What... for ? -> le but
How ? -> la manière / l'attitude

Questions types de compréhension générale:

What happened ? What are the main events ? -> les événements principaux
Who are the main characters ? -> les personnages principaux
Where does the scene take place ? -> le lieu de l'action
When is the scene set ? -> la période

HW: One group needs to focus on the characters and make a hierarchy between them. The other one needs to focus on the timeline of events and re-order them.

Files: you can download the text and questions here.
