The Weakest Link

Today we did a rapid recap of what we said last lesson and we continued on with the real TV.
We said:

"The document is a conversation between two parents who speak about real TV and children. The man whose son Nathan is an eight-year-old boy and loves the show entitled "The Weakest Link" doesn't think those shows can be harmful whereas the woman believes they are positively frightening. She finds them sickening because they appeal to our instinct for voyeurism. She wouldn't let her own children watch such shows.

The difference between "Question pour un Champion" for instance and "The Weakest Link" is mainly the difference of tone. The presenter makes fun of the contestants. He/She constantly pull their legs. He/She doesn't stop kidding the candidates. The woman thinks it is not appropriate for a youngster to watch these shows."

Grammar :
- Démonstratifs :
this --> these (pluriel)
that --> those (pluriel)

- Pas de /s/ aux adjectifs, donc "eight-year-old" qui est un adjectif composé n'aura pas de /s/.

- "WHOSE" est une forme possible de la traduction de "DONT".
