Today we continued studying the text entitled "The Bionic Man". We corrected the vocabulary hunt you had to complete and here are important words to remember :

We said :
"The operation is a groundbreaking experiment. It was the first time such an operation had been performed. Professor Warwick believes communication between man and a computer is possible. His experiment is a success. Computers can upgrade people's abilities. They can make us stronger."
Grammaire :
Le comparatif : attention, pour dire "plus... (que...)", il y a deux façons en anglais. Si l'on rajoute /-er/ à l'adjectif, il ne faut pas que celui-ci dépasse deux syllabes.
ex : strong-er (than...) ------ clever-er (than...) : attention à la prononciation de ce mot
MAIS
ex : more intelligent (than...). On ne peut pas rajouter /-er/ à "intelligent", on obtiendrait un adjectif de 4 syllabes !
