Whodunnit...?

Hi guys,

today we began a new sequence where you had to be detectives. You had to try and find the culprit in the video. And even if I tricked you, you did a good job on the whole.

Watch the video again here:

Here is what we said about the document:

Whodunnit? = Who has done it? = who has committed the crime?

1) The situation:
There has been a murder at a manor and a police inspector is here to ask
questions to the possible witnesses (who may have seen the crime) and
the possible culprits (who may have committed it).

2) The alibis:
- The maid's alibi: in the video she said that she was cleaning her master's
bedroom -> She was polishing the brass.

- The butler's: he was preparing tea. He was buttering his master's scones.

- The gardener's: she said she was planting petunias.

Vocab & phono:
- alibi
- weapon
- clues
- witness
- victim
- culprit
- murder -> murderer

Actually, this video is a campaign for road safety to pay more attention
to possible dangers on the road such as cyclists.

HW:

- apprendre la leçon, le vocabulaire et sa prononciation.
