The History of... Crisps and Chocolate Chip Cookies

Hi guys,

before really starting the class today I first recommended you to log on to this website to practise and improve your pronunciation. It is VERY useful (above all the trial period for free... :)

Then we talked about food and made a quick recap of last time's lesson.

Finally, you had to work in teams to make a summary of two texts about "crisps" on the one hand and "cookies" on the other.

Here are some of the notes you took from what people said:

"to be written by ..."

At the end of the lesson, you had to work on new vocabulary by completing a fun activity with jumbled up letters in some words.

HW:

- finir la fiche d'activités et se préparer à parler / enregistrer l'une des histoires racontées aujourd'hui uniquement à partir des notes prises.

- finir autant que possible la fiche de mots croisés.

- se préparer à un contrôle de vocabulaire sur la séquence.

- se préparer pour les deux tâches finales à venir dont voici à nouveau les intitulés:

Due --- Thursday 12th April

1-
You will prepare your recipe in front of the camera in your kitchen.
You need to show and talk about the different ingredients and steps to cook it; and also about the history of the dish.

Due --- Monday 7th May
2-
You will present your recipe to a jury composed of three people who will ask you questions about your dish.
a) Student 1 will be the contestant.
b) Student 2 will be the "narrator" of the show to build up the contestant's back story.
