Warm up : a road trip + A difficult decision

Hey,

today we first talked about the Californian road trip that I am going to take during the Easter holidays. Here is what we said about it:

A road trip / (to) take a road trip.

During the Easter holidays, the teacher will take a road trip to California, more precisely to San Diego. Audrey remembers that she took a road trip to Thailand when she was little. It broadened her mind to see very different people and cultures.

Then we continued our sequence about teenagers and parents: a difficult relationship. We started studying a new text. You had to find out a progression in the behaviours of the two main characters, Neil and M. Keating, his teacher. Here is the graph with words from the text:

"to be written by Marine"

Finally, we wrote some comments about the text. Here is what we said:

The verbs of speech and attitudes/behaviours of the characters reveal that Neil is stressed out and that he has come to see M. Keating, his teacher, for help. He asks a lot of questions and even begs him in the end.

New vocabulary:

"to be written by Marine"
