The Gold Rush - 3 - The end

Hey,

today we first had a little warm up about "Easter". Here is what we said about the celebration:

Easter is a religious celebration at the beginning, but it has become a pagan feast.
Tradition has it that children look for Easter eggs in their gardens.
Chocolate can take many shapes:

- Chocolate bells
- Chocolate rabbits
- Chocolate fish
- Chocolate hens

Then, we continued our study of the gold rush and your definitions. Those who spoke did a pretty good job. We almost finished recapitulating the information in the document thanks to the worksheet.

Here is the vocabulary that you learnt today:

"to be written by Clara"

Finally, I gave you back your tests from last week and gave you some vocabulary advice:

=> Vocabulary :

- it's over

- poor living conditions / standards a high standard of living
- a low-paid job
≠ a well-paid job

- unemployment (noun) = le chômage

- unemployed / jobless (adj.) = sans emploi
