The Terminal (extract) + Numbers

Hi guys,

today we continued analysing the document that we had begun to watch before the holidays: the extract from the movie "The Terminal".

You also had to write the numbers in your copybooks in full letters.

1- one             11- eleven            21- twenty-one
2- two             12- twelve            22- twenty-two
3- three          13- thirteen          ...
4- four             14- fourteen
5- five             15- fifteen
6- six               16- sixteen
7- seven           17- seventeen
8- eight            18- eighteen
9- nine             19- nineteen
10- ten             20- twenty

Here are some of the notes that were written on the board today:

- to ask for a number = How many ...? ---> 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 ...

- to ask for a duration = How long ...? ---> one day / one week / one month / one year / ... / forever (cf. BFF = Best Friends Forever)

What's the purpose of your visit? (intonation descendante)
Business or pleasure? (intonation montante)
