The results of the American elections + Barack Obama, a super hero?

Hi guys,

today we talked about the results of the American elections and about the system of vote which is different from France. You don't need to the popular vote but the vote from the electoral college to win.

This is a promotional video for Barack Obama's campaign. Maybe it was published by the democratic party to target young voters. In general children like comic books and cartoons because they're fun. And this video is fun. It gives a positive image of the president.

Barack Obama: a super hero?

Super powers =

- he can fly
- he can freeze the world to stop global warming
- he can cut taxes
- he can curb the debt and unemployment
- he can save a kitten from a tree
- he can kill terrortists and pirates
- he can reconcile people
=> He can do ANYTHING

Costume =

a body suit / an emblem (the symbol of the democratic party) / gloves / boots / big ears (= he can listen to people and understand them)

Good intentions =

- he wants to save the world

Double life (alter ego) =

President / Super Barack Obama
