Hi guys,

today we first checked your pronunciation of some important vocabulary words from the lesson such as "chocolate", "hamburgers", "broccoli", ... and then we moved on with trying to understand the very beginning of the movie "Super Size Me".

Super Size me: The opening of the movie

The director intends to draw a portrait of America and explain why people are getting fatter and fatter/ more and more obese .

He compares the situation today and in the past, trying to find explanations for the consequences on teenagers' health.

He mentions the case of two girls who decided to sue / file a lawsuit against / attack the Golden Arches / Mc Donald's: they blame the company for being overweight / morbidly fat.
