English Day by Day is designed for school students to improve their performance in the English language.
Hey,
today we first did a quick recap of what we had said last time about the road safety ad campaign. Here is the correction you needed to write down this morning:
"to be written by Royda"
Then we continued the lesson with a new audio document. You can listen to it again below:
Here are the notes you noted down from what we said about it:
Audio document: we concentrated on the sounds and voices only (not on the words)
List of sounds (noises):
Ring tone of a phone
Sounds of the tyres
2 characters => a man (husband) and his wife
At the beginning, the woman has an even voice. Then she’s panicked, afraid, scared.
She is trembling, crying, sobbing. She is out of breath and thinks it’s horrid.
Alarm of a car => there is a crash, an explosion, the car explodes: metal - iron, shattered glass.
HW: être capable de présenter ce document à l'oral (prise de parole de 1m30 environ) + contrôle de vocabulaire sur les mots nouveaux de la séquence.
