Opinions about TV shows

Hey,

today we first warmed up with this figure: Every year, you watch 33.000 murders (react).

Here is what we said:

Every person watches 33 000 murders a year: it's an average. At the same time, I can't believe it; it's too much, but it's true that there are many series about police investigations. Still, I can't believe my ears. It's dreadful.

Voc.:

a witness (un témoin)

Then we continued our lesson with the conversation of the two parents speaking about TV. Here is what we said:

Opinion of the woman: She believes these shows are...

... humiliating / sickening / dreadful / awful / horrible / voyeuristic / worrying / frightening

Opinion of the man: He believes these shows are...

... stupid / quite worrying

He thinks his friend is over-reacting. 

Recap:

At first / At the beginning, the man thinks the woman is over-reacting. He doesn't have the same opinion. He just believes that those real TV shows are stupid / uninteresting / foolish. But finally, he agrees with her: some TV shows are quite worrying such as "Exhausted".

Finally, we began to study the text entitled "Reality" TV?
