Numbers (00) + Presidents' pets

Hi everyone,

today we first made a recap about big numbers and how to pronounce them (ex: 1 00 = one hundred   / 1 000 = one thousand ...). We also played with the dates of birth and death of 4 American presidents.

Then we continued the lesson with some "Presidents' Pets": 

-> Attention: on ne rajoute pas le "s" de la possession quand le mot est au pluriel (en /s/). On ne rajoute que l'apostrophe pour montrer quand même qu'il y a "une laisse" de la possession. 

Here is what you wrote in your notebooks:

George Washington had a parrot and a horse.

Thomas Jefferson had a bird, dogs and baby bears.

Abraham Lincoln had a white rabbit.

Theodore (Teddy) Roosevelt had a dog and 5 bears.

Nota Bene: si au présent pour le verbe HAVE, le marqueur du temps est haVE ou haS, au passé c'est haD.

Teddy -> teddy bear

- chercher le nom des animaux présents p. 58 du manuel en anglais. Attention à l'orthographe!
