Nauru: the fattest country on Earth + Travelling places

today we first tried to recap last time's lesson but as you hadn't worked very well over your notes, this was kind of a failure... when will you understand that you will remember new ideas and new vocabulary words only if you actually use them more than once...? ARGH!

Well, well, we then continued the class with the viewing of a news report from ABC, an American channel. You can watch it again below:

Finally, in the 2nd part of the hour, you made your final presentations for the trips that you had planned. You did quite a good job today for this activity.

Congratulations to the winners (Shay, Mehdi, and Mélany)

who obtained a 75% average score for their presentation!

And of course, bravo to all of you guys who did spend some time and tried to make a good, clear, and complete presentation.

Don't forget that I will need a digitalized version of your handout... the contest is not over yet... =)

HW: 

- pour vendredi, vous devez proposer au minimum 5 conseils aux habitants de Nauru concernant leur situtation; que devraient-ils faire d'après vous pour résoudre leur crise sanitaire dans les pays et échapper à l'obésité morbide qui frappe la majeure partie de la population?

- rendre les documents non rendus / réalisés la semaine dernière pour votre oral =

      * une fiche de vocabulaire par thème illustrant le thème abordé par votre image

      * un commentaire intégralement rédigé

      * une fiche IDAHO + Branch Out avec seulement des notes (= un support de l'oral)

NB: si vous ne me rendez pas TOUS ces documents, vous aurez 0/6 à votre note d'oral. Faites passer le message aux élèves absents aujourd'hui. Je ne tolèrerai aucun retard!
