MANY students were absent today for the module... this is intolerable!
We first warmed up about the weather and here is what we wrote:
"to be written by Delphine H."
Then we worked on the notion of global warming again.
We first watched the video of a flash mob maybe taking place in the café of an airport in the USA. Here is what we said about it:
Group 1: "to be written by Delphine Hugon" Group 2: "to be written by Aurélie S."
You can watch the video again down here:
Then, only with group 2, we began to work on the video clip "Beds are Burning" dealing with the Copenhagen summit in December. Here is what we said about it:
"to be sent by Aurélie S."
You can watch the clip down here:
You can download your worksheet here: (originally designed by Eliane Debien)
HW: for next time, you need to be able to speak five minutes about the problem of natural disasters and climate change. You may send me your drafts (brouillons) if needed.

Hi Jessica,

You'll have to catch up with students from the class. Maybe you can phone them and arrange to meet? or do it tomorrow, first thing in the morning.

I'm expecting Sarah's notes in particular... she told me she would post the lesson tonight... I hope she will abide by it.

Take care,
M. Hattais.
