Illegal downloading, uniforms + oral evaluation

Hey,

with Group 1, we continued speaking about uniforms and listing some arguments for and against:

- You can feel left out, like a pariah if your parents cannot afford to buy you expensive clothes

- It's normal, it's a custom / habit
-> You are accustomed to wearing a uniform.

Vocabulary:
- mentally tiring
- repetitive
- boring
- You can get fed up
with wearing a uniform

With group 2, we spoke about an oral document dealing with illegal downloading:

The document deals with illegal downloading,
i.e.when people download music from the Internet for free / without paying.
Lily Allen has threatened to quit the music industry if people continue to download her music for free.
In London, with Pink Floyd and RadioHead, they have made a proposal to the government: if the police knows someone downloads illegally, they will first send 2 letters of warning and then slow down the hacker's Internet connection.

Voc:

(to) slow down = ralentir

(to) shut down = fermer

You can listen to the document again here:

Finally, those who wanted could read the song "Sunday Bloody Sunday" by U2 and get a grade for their oral presentation.
