First Class - Amit, the Indian student ?

Hey,

 today we first got to know each other. Let me wish you a happy back-to-school. I hope you will all achieve good grades at the end of the year for your A-Levels.

After introducing myself a little and presenting how the year was going to unfold, we started working on last year's A-Levels exam. You particularly had to focus on the characters, the places, and the time references.

For these data, we could deduce some information about the text. Here is what we said:

Amit (in another country) / His parents (from India).

Lesson one : "Mock exam 2010"

The text is an extract from a novel. It deals with Amit, the main character and his parents. He studies in an American college whereas his parents travel all around the world because of their jobs.
Presently, they are in Saudi Arabia.

HW: for next time, you need to draw a timeline of events for both Amit and his parents. Try to make some events / places / ages correspond so that you understand the text better.
