Facebook + The characters in the text

first you had to discuss about the topic of facebook and its dangers. Here is what you said:

It's a social network where people can exchange photos and chat with friends. It's an evolution of personal blogs or MSN online chats. Nadia said she used to have a facebook account but she cancelled it / shut it down.
Indeed, she doesn't want to display / expose her personal life. She prefers watching / stalking other people's lives on the web.
Asma told us that her sister was a victim of harassment by her ex-boyfriend and she was threatened to death.

Then we continued speaking about our text and you had analyse how the characters were related to one another, who was present and who was absent. Here is our comment:

The characters:
Neil loves / enjoys / is crazy about / is fond of / acting but his father doesn't want him to act. He would rather he became a businessman instead of an actor. His father is very strict and narrow-minded; that's why Neil felt like he was in prison / he felt as if he were in prison. His family is not rich like Charlie's family, so his father is afraid Neil will not lead a good life if he becomes an actor.
