Duane Hanson: an art review

today we worked on clichés and on understanding the biography of Duane Hanson a bit more. Here is what we said about it:

1 - His life (biography)

1925: born in Minnesota

1950’s: started his early work

1953: Germany -> professor of art

1965: returned to Miami

1969: returned to NY

1972: first exhibition of hyper realism

1973/74: beginning of success and international fame

1978: exhibition in N Y

1996: died in Florida -> cancer -> his techniques
