Whose pets are they? Whose pets is it?

Hi guys,

today we first worked on associating a pet to its owner.

Then you gave out your riddles about different animals for the class to guess.

Here is what we finally wrote:

It has four legs. It's man's best friend. It likes running and collecting objects (shoes and bones). It's a thief. It's Romeo!

-> It's James's dog. It's his dog.

It's got four legs. It lives in the kitchen in St Malo. It loves eating lettuce and carrots. Its name is "Bobonne". *

-> It's Aliette's turtle.

It has two long back legs and two short legs. It lives in her garden in Australia. It can jump very high.

-> It's Sharon's kangaroo.

vocab

's -> pronunciation [z] , [s] , or [iz] - "la laisse du 's" ou bien "la contraction de /is/" ou bien la marque de la 3ème personne du singulier ou bien la marque du pluriel ou bien la contraction du verbe "has got".

his / her / its = l'appartenance (à un homme / une femme / une chose)
