Hey guys,
today you had to report your findings about the text and especially the two doctors. Here is what we said about them (1st part and 2nd part):
1st part : The inspector
We don't know his name. We just understand his role. He asks questions to see if Jacob knows how to count and how to speak English.
He wants to check if he is healthy, that's why he is interested in his leg. He is suspicious; consequently he sends him to another doctor.
He's very serious and strict. He is not understanding and rather aggressive : that's why Jacob is scared and intimidated.
2nd part : The doctor
Contrary to the inspector, Carl Travers is much kinder/ sweeter/ nicer. He's more relaxed and understanding.
He is humane. He is interested in understanding why Jacob is sweating, why he is afraid. He wants to know his story.
