today we continued studying the text and for those who still haven't finished highlighting it with different colours to make the different WH- stand out, I strongly advise you to do so...
Here is what we have written so far about the different parts of the document (people, places, alibi, motives, problems about the alibi...):
Part 2, 39-60 : Samuel Mason's interrogation
The scene takes place at Mason's house. He said that the governor and he have been political allies but that recently they have had a fight/spat because of politics; Robert favored another candidate. However, Robert called him in the afternoon to «mend fences»
=to clarify things about their feuding.
Alibi:
He was reading all evening and he said he didn't watch TV or to the radio. However, Liddy Hamilton heard music playing in an upstairs room. That's fishy.
