South Africa - Flag and History + Correction of your tests (how to write a dialogue)

Hey guys,

first of all, I have to say that I'm quite disappointed to see that so MANY people were absent today... what the heck are you thinking? Do you really want to fail your English test at the end of the year and ruin all the efforts you have made so far...? What we are doing NOW is absolutely important. You have to work like the devil on the written part of your final A-Levels... so please, be intelligent, do come to class, and work when you're there!

Well, ... today we talked about South Africa and more precisely Nelson Mandela, the ANC, Apartheid, Afrikaners, ... so lots of important things dealing with the cutlure and history of the country.

Here is what we said:

"to be written by..."

Then in the second part of the hour, you had to work on correcting your essay and dialogue from last time's "DST". I hope you've understood what is expected from you for the "dialogue" part.

HW:

- pour ceux qui n'ont pas terminé leur correction aujourd'hui, me la rendre pour le 22/05.

- lire le texte que je vous ai distribué et surligner les éléments majeurs du texte (who / where / when / what / how / why) = en faire l'analyse. Si vous ne faites pas ce travail, ne pensez même pas que je sois indulgent avec vous. Vous êtes là pour travailler, moi pour vous faire parler, comprendre, et écrire anglais et accessoirement tenter de vous faire avoir la meilleure note possible au bac pour vous...! Alors on se BOUGE!
