Rosie - The Recap + New Sequence: the dangers of science?

Hey,

today we first did a quick warm up and then we finished speaking about Rosie the Riveter and its author, Norman Rockwell.

Warm up:

It gives me goosebumps / the chills.
It's freezing cold.
It's chilly.
It's cold enough to freeze off witches' tits.

Here is what we said about Norman Rockwell:

He was both a painter and an illustrator. He had a very long career and published a lot. His most famous works deal with "Americana", that's to say the American way of life.
His most famous works: Rosie the Riveter and Thanksgiving.
They were published on the cover of the Saturday Evening Post, a New-York based magazine.

Additional Vocabulary:

Then we continued the class with a new sequence entitled: "The Dangers of Science?" and we particularly focused our attention on an opinion poll carried out in the USA about cloning.
