Rosa Parks's story - The laws

http://www.le-shamrock.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/6kpyqt43.jpgHey,

today we continued speaking about Rosa Parks's story and those who knew who she was talked to the others about her. Then we determined what was allowed and what was forbidden for Afro-Americans to do in the USA in the past, during segregation. Here is what we said:

"to be written by ..."

Then we commented on the different pictures and we started to read the comic strip. You had to underline the verbs in the past tense and circle the temporal links.

HW: for next time, you need to be able to speak about the different laws from the 1930's, 40's, and 50's + complete the exercise sheet (p. 3). Don't forget that your binders (classeurs) will be graded after the vacation, so you had better complete all your sheets (vocabulary, grammar, ...).
