English Day by Day is designed for school students to improve their performance in the English language.
Hey,
today we first warmed up a little. Here is what we said at the beginning of the class:
"to be written by Kim"
Then we continued speaking about junk food and we tried to give a definition. You had to decide if some food items were junk food or not and explain why. Here is what we said:
Junk food items are high in fat, sugar, starch and salt.
They are unhealthy and greasy. You should cut down on these ingredients if you don't want to put on weight.
If you eat too much salt, you may have a heart problem / disease / condition.
Phonetics:
Heart -> []
We continued the lesson with crazy table manners. Here is what we said:
You must eat with three fingers.
You should not breathe between two dishes.
You should try to look excited when you wait for my mother's dish.
HW: you need to finish this list of advice for a dinner at the Queen's.
