Poor furry animals... + Strange Fruit

Hi guys,

today we first started the class with this quite funny document (though gory) by French and Saunders. I highly recommend you watched other videos by these comedians online; I believe they are hilarious...

Then we continued the lesson about "Songs of Freedom" with the presentation of two groups and moved on with the analysis of a picture and of a song.

HW:

- faire des recherches sur les deux images présentées (lynching parties). Il faut raconter l'histoire qu'il y a derrière ces images (ex: où cela se passe-t-il exactement? pourquoi ces gens ont-ils été pendus? ...)

- Apprendre le poème "Strange Fruit" par coeur et être capable de le réciter sans erreur de prononciation (vous pouvez calquer Billie Holiday pour ne pas refaire d'erreurs).
