Pain and Fear!

Hey guys,

today you behaved like slugs and it was very hard for me to have you speak... watch out for a potential pop quiz in the future if you ever reiterate this lack of enthusiasm...

However, we managed to talk about the possible reasons why the two doctors acted differently and you began to work on the lexical fields about "pain and fear". Here is what you have said so far:

1st doctor :
- Maybe, he grew up in a strict family.
-            He's seen many immigrants and he's tired.
-            He's old and he's had enough. He is fed up with his job.
-            He is angry with his boss.
-            He is racist.
-            He has a complicated past.
2nd doctor :
- He grew up in a nice family.
- His father was a Nazi and he doesn't want to be like him.
- We can assume that he's just had a promotion, that's why he's kind.
- He loves his job.
- He fell in love with another immigrant.
- Possibly his parents educated him very well.
- He may try to help Jacob because he is also a Russian Jew and he's escaped a pogrom like Jacob.
- Maybe like him he has a troubled past. He knows how it is to be like Jacob.
- Doctors have to be tolerant/nice with their patients.
- He is Jewish too.

HW:
