Module: Global warming, the time has come to take a stand!

Hey today we first warmed up with oral presentations of two of your classmates. They were not rich and long enough. You need to prepare more things and speak more fluently without looking at your notes.

Then we began to work on the video clip "Beds are Burning" dealing with the Copenhagen summit in December. We first commented on the clock at the beginning of the document. Here is what we said about it:

The document represents a clock. It's a special clock because it doesn't show the hours. Instead, it depicts several symbols.
For instance, there are two trees. One with leaves and the other without leaves.
There is also a factory, a fire extinguisher, etc...
And at 12 o'clock the symbol for the void.

The document symbolizes the dangers of climate change. As time goes by, our environment is destroyed. If we don't do anything, our planet will be destroyed.

Then we watched the clip and we commented on it briefly. Here is what we said about it:

The chorus= "The time has come to take a stand"

Many celebrities are involved in this video clip. They take a stand a stand against climate change. They say it is time to act.
