McDonald's trial - Whose fault is it?

Then we continued listening to the audio track from Super Size Me; here is what we said about the document:

Before:
Eat at home
Cook dinner

VS

Now:
Eat outside
Eat at the restaurant

Before, people used to eat at home whereas now they eat outside. They don't cook dinner anymore. They eat at the restaurant all the time.

The tone of the document is ironic.

Two girls decided to sue McDonald's because they accuse them of making them put on weight / making them become morbidly obese.

Eating too much may endanger your health.
McDonald's are everywhere in the US. The journalist insists on the fact that it's bizarre / weird / odd / strange that people can eat fast food at hospital ("even hospitals"). He wants to make people realize the impact of McDonald's. The report is ironic. It's a satire.
