English Day by Day is designed for school students to improve their performance in the English language.
Hey,
today we began studying our new theme: "Love". We talked freely about it and about romance and how romantic boys and girls are. Here is what we said:
Romantic boys and romantic girls:
The most romantic thing Lisa has ever done in her life was when she came back from vacation in a car. The boy who was sitting next to her bent towards her and murmured / whispered in her ear: "I have feelings for you". She remembers they were listening to rap music and the song was about love.
Nadia believes it's pathetic / lame.
To her mind, romantic boys are ridiculous. She doesn't believe in Prince Charming. Boys have to take the first step but they musn't be romantic.
NB!
"I've never ever given a lame gift"
HW: for next time, you need to read the text I have given you again and to make a chronology with the events mentionned in the document.
