Little Red Riding Hood - Audio script + grammar

Hey,

today we first warmed up with the recording of a typical version of "Little Red Riding Hood". You had to fill in the blanks and here are some important words about the way people speak:

"to be written by Félix / William"

Then we commented upon a new grammar point: les procédés emphatiques.

-> Grammar: Les procédés emphatiques

Le fait de sortir l'auxiliaire du groupe verbal, de le placer juste avant renforce la portée du verbe.

Prétérit: -> Examples from Little Red Riding Hood:

She liked the idea
-> She did like the idea

Impératif:
Come in
-> Do come in

Don't stop on the way
-> Do not stop on the way

Présent:
She wants to be a lawyer
-> She does want to be a lawyer

They need to be focused
-> They do need to be focused

It was our last activity about Fairy Tales. On Friday, we'll start the last sequence of the year.
