Jacob has gone to the US

http://photoshoptutorials.ws/images/stories/DriedBloodSplattersPhotoshopBrushes_F902/image_6.pngHi guys,

today you first took a vocabulary test. I hope you did alright. I'll give you your results asap.

Then we continued the lesson with a quick recap of what you had said earlier and we moved on thinking about Jacob's future. What will he do in the future?

Here are the hypotheses that you wrote down in your copybooks:

Exprimer une hypothèse:
Will -->100%    (= future)
May --> 50%
Might --> 20%
- He may try and find friends or family in Russia before leaving.
- He may get revenge because he is angry.
- He may try to kill the soldiers whom he considers as killers.
- He may be hunted by the soldiers.
- He may be hide in the forest / in another village.
- He might leave Russia and go to another country.
- He might die of starvation.
- His injury may get infected.
- He may be capured.
- He may come back to his village to bury his family.

We insisted on how to construct an hypothesis in English and saw the differences between 3 modal auxiliaries (will / may / might).

Finally, we read the very first lines of the text I gave you and you discovered that Jacob had in fact immigrated to the US... We'll learn more about him next time.

HW:

- apprendre la leçon.
