English Day by Day is designed for school students to improve their performance in the English language.
Hi guys,
today we worked on the vocabulary worksheet I gave you last time. You had to rephrase some questions to ask other students about their experiences.
For example:
"Have you ever bungee-jumped?"
-> Yes, I have already bungee-jumped.
-> No, I have never bungee-jumped.
"Have you ever ridden a turtle?"
-> Yes, I have already ridden a turtle.
-> No, I have never ridden a turtle.
-----
Le Present Perfect:
Valeur = parler d'une expérience acquise
Construction = HAVE / HAS + p. passé
-> Question = EVER
-> Positive answer = ALREADY
-> Negative answer = NEVER
Then we watched the video of Ben first without sound and then with sound.
You had to determine whether he had such and such an experience or not. Here are some of the things you said:
He hasn't ridden a turtle but he has ridden an ostrich.
He has already given TV and radio interviews.
...
His qualities: He is energetic and crazy.
...
You can watch Ben's video down here again:
