Giving and receiving gifts + correction of your dialogues from the DST

http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:QYs1d0BbmoyvKM:http://wallpapers-diq.com/wallpapers/90/A_Special_Gift_for_You.jpg&t=1Hey,

today we first had a long warm up about celebrations and presents. Here is what we said about the topic:

What is the best present you have ever received?
The best gift I have ever been given was my car. I couldn't afford it but I really needed one.

What is the worst gift you have ever had?
I have to admit I don't like reading and it was a book: Robinson Crusoe.

However, I don't think that there are good or bad gifts. For example, presents don't have to be expensive; I can photoshop some pictures and frame them. It's nearly free and it comes from the bottom of my heart.
You don't need a special occasion to offer presents to your relatives even if there are many celebrations throughout the year: New Year's Eve, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, birthdays, wedding ceremonies, christenings...
All of these celebrations have become quite commercial and I tend to regret it.

Then I gave you a copy of the correction for your dialogues and you had to highligh the positive points in this paper adapted from Linda's essay. You can download it here again:

Please Priscilla: rewrite the important and new vocabulary that you have learnt thanks to the correction

HW: for next time, learn your lesson and don't forget to be able to talk about Ana's situation.
