Freeganism + basic information from the text

Hey guys,

today we first watched a document about Freeganism. You can watch again below:

Here is what we said about it:

Warm up : Freeganism

Type of document : report / documentary

Who : A man -> a biology teacher at university
Where : California , downtown around... / in the vicinity of... the college. In the street / in trash containers.
When : We don't know but it's sunny.
What : He is taking food from the trash container for free.

Reactions:

----- It's dirty / it's disgusting / there's no way I could do that / you may become sick / you might die because of bacteria.

+++ Free = economical / eco-friendly / the 3 "Re" -> Reuse / Recycle / Reduce consumption

Vegan # Vegetarian

Then we ended the class with understanding the situation in the text very briefly. We answered typical WH- questions about the characters, the setting, and the action.

We didn't have time to write notes about that part but we'll do it next time.

HW: learn your lesson and be ready to talk about the text.
