Here, the revolution food:<br /> <br /> A teaser/a trailer/ a preview of an Amercia TV shows.<br /> It features a Britishchef, Janice Oliver who is in " the most unhealthy town, Huntington, west Virginia.<br /> The scene takes place now a day and it deals with the problem of obesity. People are dying because they don't know what they eat.<br /> For instance, out school, children can't make the difference between potatoes and tomatoes.<br /> They have pizza for breakfast but they don't know that they shouldn't.<br /> At the end of the exctract, Jamie is crying because he is disappointed in people's reactions and fed up with the bocals 'hostility.<br /> Why it is funny but it actually isn't:<br /> The man is crying ( he looks ridiculous to some students )<br /> There is a discrepancy/gap between what they know and what they should know.<br /> <br /> Additional Vocabulary:<br /> <br /> Flour<br /> Ingredient/ Topping<br /> Broad=> generalization<br /> Stereotypical vision<br /> Preconceived idea<br /> Cliché Stereotypes<br /> <br /> You need to be cautions about what you say and how you say it. " or " Brian is in the kitchen")<br /> " Tea's café" is absolutely incorrect, it doesn't mean anything. It is based on the have an apostrophe in them.<br /> <br /> The French feel superior. They are said to be self-sufficient/Smug and the text plays with it.<br /> As for Paul's suggestions, to his colleagues and boss, they are too flat and don't sound English enough. They are not funny.
