Hey,
today we first spoke about the tradition of Easter and here is what we said about it:
Group 1:
Easter egg hunt:
Easter is a Christian feast.
It celebrates the re-birth of Jesus. But many people celebrate this tradition without knowing it. For pagans, it's the celebration of Spring and the end of Winter. The tradition has it that rabbits or bells drop / hide Easter eggs in people's gardens .
- Possible forms of chocolate:
egg - rabbit - bell
hen - bee
Group 2:
EASTER EGG HUNT
Many people don't know that Easter is a Christian feast. It's the celebration of the re-birth of Jesus. For pagans, it's just a moment to have fun and eat loads of chocolate. Chocolate may take many shapes, from a hen to a fish or a bell.
- "April Fool!" is what you say to people on April Fool's Day.
Then you had to work in groups of 3 or 4 and build up an original fairy tale using elements from an existing one. You need to turn in your papers by mail before leaving for Greece (or by next week if you're not in Greece).
