Drama - My grandparents' house + Romeo and Juliet's characterisation

Hey guys,

today you first had to stage a poem by Steve Turner entitled "My Grandparents' House" and then we moved on with analysing the personalities and understanding the characters of the play "Romeo and Juliet".

Here are the adjectives you came up with and that you thought best characterised the two heroes:

- Romeo is romantic, sensitive and impulsive. He is passionate and immature but still likeable. He sometimes feel misunderstood. 

- Juliet is naive and pretty. She is desperately in love. She is innocent and fragile but she is an incredible girl even if she sometimes acts childishly.

HW:

Pour lundi, vous devez finir la caractérisation des personnages (mettre un adjectif réprésentatif pour chaque personnage coché: Friar Lawrence, Mercutio, The Nurse, Tybalt, Paris, The Chorus) et préparer une scène où cette émotion est visible sans parole. Le but sera de deviner quel personnage vous jouer et quel adjectif vous avez effectivement choisi.

Pour jeudi, n'oubliez pas le travail que vous avez à faire pour préparer le cours avec Holly et les choses que vous devez me rendre (cf. post précédent pour les détails).

NB: je mettrai à votre disposition pour une consultation au CDI dès demain un exemplaire des scènes que nous allons devoir adapter. Cela vous donnera un avant-goût du travail qui nous attend. Demandez-les à la documentaliste.
