Then we continued the lesson with a new sequence entitled: "Stereotypes". We began to study the photograph of two statues by Duane Hanson. Here is what we said about it:
The picture represents two statues by Duane Hanson. Immediately / At first sight, we think they are German tourists. They are wearing old-fashioned summer clothes. They are also wearing outdated flip-flops and old camera. Moreover, they are fat; they correspond to the stereotype / cliché / preconceived idea of the German tourist.
HW: find 5 stereotypes about Canadians and learn your lesson of course!
