Correction - Dreams

Hi guys, 

today we corrected the end of the translation and you wrote down some translation techniques.

Here is what we said:

Then, we reviewed some important vocabulary to talk about dreams and a possible construction for the essay (to what extent => ... as long as ...). You had the possibility to take the example of Ruth Simmons's success to illustrate the argument that dreams can be a motivation to go beyond yourself and the idea of the American dream which can sometimes prove to be a failure for some immigrants and explain why this type of utopia may lead to despair.

I also gave you 2 sheets of methodology (essay and dialogue). You need to learn the new vocabulary in those sheets.

HW: n'oubliez pas le contrôle de vocabulaire demain Jeudi. Faites-vous des fiches de vocabulaire concernant les verbes de discours par exemple pour vous avancer.
