Britain's got talent + grammar

Hey,

 

today we first watched an extract from the show entitled "Britain's got talent" and we particularly analysed the reaction of the jury and the audience. You can watch the video down here:

 

 

Here is what we wrote in your copybooks:

 

The Arrangement:

+ : It was genius / it was crazy / I really loved it / it was brilliant / whatever you're drinking, I'm drinking with you / you rocked!

- : it was lame / it socked / it was unbearable!

Voc:

a contestant (participant, compétiteur)
(to) perform -> a performance
a cover (reprise d'une musique).

 

In the second part of the hour, we corrected 2 grammar exercises; the first one dealt with verbs of speech and the other one was about indirect speech and logical tenses. Here is the correction:

 

"to be written by ..."
