we corrected your vocabulary tests and we highlighted the fact that those vocabulary words are certainly going to be useful for tomorrow's test on "Genetics". As you are going to have to produce an essay, here is some advice:
- Introdcution: Start with a general idea or a common belief. Then show how this idea may raise questions. Finally, draw the outline of your essay.
- Arguments: try to have at least 2 arguments for each part with corresponding interesting examples that will really support the ideas.
- Conclusion: sum up everything and give your personal opinion about the subject. Branch out.
Be careful to use link words so that you show your teacher that you have learnt things and that you have really thought about the subject.
Examples of possible essays: 1- Science is going too far, do you agree with this statement? (200-250 words) 2- If you had a chance, would you clone yourself and why?(200-250 words) Examples of possible dialogues: 1- After the interview at the geneticist's, Maria and Antonio have a conversation about what happened and about their future child.(200-250 words) 2- When Vincent is 18, Maria decides to tell him how different he is from his younger brother. Write this conversation.(200-250 words)
