today I had you watch a news report dealing with the death of Tookie Williams. You can watch it again below:

THE DEBATE OVER THE DEATH SENTENCE
The document is a news report about Tookie Williams, a former gand leader who was accused of murdering 4 people by the State of California.
He was sentenced to death and waited 24 years on death row. He was poisoned (by lethal injection). There was a demonstration in front of the jail with people who were for his death and people who defended him. They held placards with the words : "Save Tookie Williams", "Shame on US", "Save Stan"... and they said California "killed an innocent man".
Why was he sentenced to death?
Because he killed 4 people and he never admitted he was guilty.
He never repented his crimes.
