today we finished working on what you like or dislike and your talents. You had to practise a lot orally.
We concluded the class with a "who's who?" = a game with secret identities.
Here is the chart of possible identities. You can practise talking about the characters in English.
Example: Sarah can't ride a horse at all and she can't skate or play rugby but she can surf very well. She can sing and dance a little; and she can swim quite well.
-> Attention à la prononciation de CAN et CAN'T.
Avec CAN (positif), l'accent de la phrase tombe sur la verbe. Le /A/ de /CAN/ est réduit. Avec CAN'T (négatif), l'accent de la phrase tombe sur /CAN'T/, la voyelle n'est pas réduite et donc plus longue.
